My name is Mary Clanahan. I began seeing the world through artist's eyes at a very young age. I've tried drawing, painting, and sculpting but have found the most pleasure from digital art. I create digital art using several different types of computer software. Making artwork gives me great joy and I am proud of my effort. If I had to describe my art, I would say my landscapes are full of color, light and movement. My surrealism pieces are a study of the human condition that have depth and hidden details which prove worth the search it takes to find. This one is dear to me, called Lowell and the Kite-man conception 2009. It was the first thing I created that made me stop and stare, slack jawed and amazed. It paved the way to my state of mind and subsequent artwork. I was impressed with the rich history of Lowell Mass, it made a huge impression on me. I wanted to express my gratitude to the birthplace of Jack Kerouac.
